Today we received some visitor and for Barsaloi “All visitors are a blessing”.
They were the president and some donors of Africa Digna, a Spanish nonprofit organization. Africa Digna is one of the main donors for various projects in Barsaloi, including the nursery project (a project that provides education and meals for children between 3 and 5 years old), the Chakuti project (which gives an education for shepherd’s children) and they also sponsor part of Barsaloi’s food dispensary.
All of us, including father Memo and the seminarians had to work to have “El Encanto”, a house with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (with a capacity for 10 guests) very clean and organized. Thankfully, when the important visitors finally arrived they were impressed by how neat the house was!! We did it! I want to help to promote this place more. In the evening we had movie time. The children started to watch their movie but the electricity was not very good and unfortunately the power went out after around 30 minutes.
While that was going on, I was on the terrace talking about God. My question to the group was: Who is God for you? I got very interesting responses from everyone
Father Memo: Something that doesn’t have to be to be. “To be or not to be”.
Steve: Reality that goes beyond reason.
George: Vital Energy that each human being keeps discovering along his or her life.
My answer: YOU!! You are the expression of God!! And I dedicated them (and to all of you), the song “You are the face of GOD”.
